As temperatures drop, the excitement goes up as college football once again begins its annual season. Each team in the top 25 certainly looks to make a run at Ohio State after their dominant play led them to a National Championship, as well as the number one rank to start out the season. With two elite starting quarterbacks at their disposal, Cardale Jones and J.T. Barrett, and an electrifying quarterback turned receiver, Braxton Miller, the Buckeyes have talent galore on the offensive side of the football. Do not forget about the Heisman candidate, running back Ezekiel Elliott who will help shoulder the offensive load. Not only do the Buckeyes have an incredibly talented offense, but they also boast one of the best defenses in the country led by starter, Joey Bosa, who is considered by many to be the best defensive player in the whole country. Look for the Buckeyes to roll this college football season.

However, the Buckeyes are not the only team who believes they have a legitimate chance at capturing the National Championship. The Alabama Crimson Tide are sure to make some noise throughout the college season. With a relentless running attack led by Derrick Henry, the Tide can wear down defenses with power run after power run, eventually opening up the passing game for new quarterback Jake Coker. Traditionally, the Crimson Tide have a very stout defense, and this year is no exception as head coach Nick Saban has once again put together a defensive unit sure to frustrate every offense they play against. Heading into the year, Alabama is the favorite to win the SEC.

A team that many thought would regress this season due to the loss of their starting quarterback, Jameis Winston, was Florida State. However, with transfer from Notre Dame, Everett Golson, the Seminoles look to pick up right where they left off and win another ACC title. With Dalvin Cook leading the rushing attack and the overall talent surrounding the offense, the Seminoles are sure to put some points on the board. There will be questions with the defense and its ability to stop more high powered offenses; however, Jimbo Fisher always seems to be able to rally his team when it counts. Do not be surprised if Florida State completes the three-peat as ACC Champions.

The College Football season is sure to have plenty of upsets this season that are nearly impossible to predict, however, certain teams are much more upset-worthy than others. For example, the Auburn Tigers are a team that should be on upset alert every week of the season. With an unproven quarterback, Jeremy Johnson, and a shaky offense at defense, the Auburn Tigers do not have a great chance for success. Pair that with playing in one of the toughest conferences in football, then it turns into a recipe for disaster. Do not expect much out of the Alabama Rival.

College Football will undoubtedly bring upon the country incredible excitement, and will also bring out some of the greatest triumphs, yet sadly, at the same time, the most inconsolable heartbreaks  for the young players. Either way, America will be watching. Good luck to all this College Football season!
