As Halloween quickly approaches, Halloween-goers scramble to find a costume to flaunt for the holiday. While our attention is focused more on school work than the holiday itself, we feel it is only right to supply you with the best Halloween costumes that can be put together last minute. These clever costumes can be made with common objects and materials that can be found and assembled right in the comfort your own home.

  1. Grown-Up Baby

This might be one of the easiest costumes ever. All you need is a sleeper, which can be found at your local Target or Walmart if you don’t own one. You can even buy a pacifier or a bottle to complete the look!

  1.  Nerd

For this costume, all you need is any kind of shirt: long sleeve, short sleeve, patterned, or button down. You name it. Next, a pair of long, baggy pants are perfect for this look. Also, if your grandpa or your dad has any kind of suspenders, be sure to wear those. Lastly, a pair of glasses would complete the costume. It is recommended to wrap a thin piece of tape around the middle of the glasses. Overall, this costume is quick, easy, and can be found around your house.

  1.  Tourist

This costume is a great last minute idea. A Hawaiian button down works wonders on this costume, along with a visor. Also, fanny packs and cameras are essential; if you have either of the two laying around, you will become the ultimate tourist. If you or your family members don’t own these items, local dollar stores and thrift stores typically will carry button down shirts, visors, fanny packs, and maybe even cheap disposable cameras.

  1.  Sports Fan/Player

This is one of the easiest costumes to find around your house. If you and your family are sports fans, this outfit is perfect for you. If you have any jerseys (i.e. football jerseys or baseball jerseys) laying around your house, your costume is set! To take the look even further, you could carry a baseball bat, football, helmet, or baseball cap.

     5. Superhero

A superhero costume might require some money, but is very easy to put together. If this costume is a last minute decision, all you really need is a blue/red plain shirt with any kind of pants (leggings, jeans, or shorts). To top it off, a cape would be ideal. Without an actual cape, though, you can still complete your look with an old sheet or towel worn as a cape. This method will save you money! If you are looking to intensify your look even more, you can opt for some kind of superhero shirt, colorful leggings, a mask, and a touch of face paint!
