The Jetstream Flashback: Student Protestors 1972
After a school hockey championship game in 1972 led to a “disturbance” involving several students, 56 protesting Kadets took a stand, or should I say– a “sit,” for what they believe to be unjustifiable action taken by Mr. Delventhal, Air Academy’s principal at the time. More worthy of attention than their actions, in my opinion, is the classic 70’s look all of the students portray: their hip hair-dos and classic station wagons in our 40-years-ago-parking-lot. Not to mention the unforgettable striped pants worn by “second from the right.”
