Fall Favorites
It’s been awhile, hasn’t it?
Whether you want to ignore it or not, another year approaches and so do the new fall fashion trends. Either pull out the hammy downs or pull out the credit card, but they’re here. So if you were wondering what is new on the market, look no further!
A trend that is slowly seeing the sunlight is punk fashion. Making more of a rise in the Fall 2013 runways, punk is a sophisticated way to look sharp and rebellious. From chained boots to leather skirts, it’s hot. I like that this is such a dramatic look. People are too used to dressing safe.
Always around, and always adorable, plaid is still a fall favorite. Even though it’s around every year, designers always find new ways to keep the style fresh, and current. Plaid is a really laid back style, so I’d like to see a designer take on the challenge of providing some subtle elegance to this effortless look.
One of the biggest trends I’ve seen is bringing back styles. We had the 80’s come back and now we see the 1950’s. Channeling your inner Audrey Hepburn, we see a style inspired by femininity. A few things to look out for; full skirts, elbow length gloves, and swing jackets.
Keep in mind: this is 2014 and girls like to show a little skin, so this style gives ladies a chance to show some skin without exposing too much. Cut out clothing, is sexy, it makes a statement, but its subtle enough to not make the wrong statement. Fall is the perfect time to wear this look because the temperature makes it, so you’re not showing too much skin, or too little.
Something I find…interesting is now breaking way in the fashion world. Digital prints! These growing prints and patterns are just becoming more vibrant and more popular. They’re very artsy, and classic.
Those are just a few of styles that jumped out at me, keep an eye out, they’ll be hitting the stores soon.
Stay classy,
M&M

Great article. I think those “”sharp and rebellious” dresses would look fantastic on me.
