Browbeaten by his principal at his school, Marty must also endure the acrimonious relationship between his nerdy father and his lovely mother, who in turn suffer the bullying of middle-aged jerk Biff, Marty’s dad’s supervisor. The one balm in Marty’s life is his friendship with eccentric scientist Doc, who at present is working on a time machine. Accidentally zapped back into the 1950s, Marty inadvertently interferes with the budding romance of his now-teenaged parents. Our hero must now reunite his parents-to-be lest he ceases to exist in the 1980s. It won’t be easy, especially with the loutish Biff, now also a teenager, complicating matters. - She’s All That
Stars: Freddie Prinze Jr., Rachael Leigh Cook, Matthew Lillard
Plot: She’s All That is your typical high school prom king and queen story and the run in defending the star status in the upcoming election. High school hottie Zack Siler is dumped by his prom-queen girlfriend, the equally attractive and extremely popular Taylor Vaughan, who fell for a second-hand world reject TV soap star who she met over the spring break. Having been publicly dumped, Zack defends his discomposure by stating that Taylor is all make-up and wonder-bra, and he can make any ordinary girl a prom queen with a similar package. - Grease
Stars: John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John, Stockard Channing
Plot: It’s 1959, and Rydell High School’s senior class is in rare form. The too-cool-for-school “Burger Palace Boys” are stealing hub-caps and acting tough, and their gum-snapping, chain-smoking “Pink Ladies” are looking hot in bobby sox and pedal pushers. The 1950s high school dream is about to explode in this rollicking musical that is both an homage to the idealism of the fifties and a satire of high schoolers’ age-old desire to be rebellious, provocative and rebellious. At the heart of the story is the romance between hot-rodding gangster Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. They had a secret romance in summer, but now back in the context of school, peer pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated. - Pretty in Pink
Stars: Molly Ringwald, Jon Cryer, Harry Dean Stanton

Blaine gets scared and tells Andie he can’t take her to the Prom. - Napoleon Dynamite

Living with Napoleon is Kip, who is just as geeky but older. When Napoleon’s grandmother is injured, his uncle Rico stays to look after him, along with Kip. Kip’s girlfriend, LaFawnduh, comes to visit too. Uncle Rico offers to sell some “breast enhancers” to Deb, lying that Napoleon suggested the idea. Deb calls Napoleon, saying that he should try some himself for being so heartless. - Teen Spirit

Ren’s life changes when he moves to a small town where rock-n-roll and dancing are criminal activities. When Ren falls in love with the reverend’s daughter, Ariel Moore, the music pauses and Ren needs to shape up or make dancing a legal activity once again. - Never Been Kissed

But when her boss thinks it’s not juicy enough, her brother joins the school, gets in with the crowd, and encourages the cool kids to be her friends. But then, Josie also falls in love with her hunky English teacher, Sam Paulson, and her boss tries to get her to seduce him for an expose.
