Where to Eat in Colorado Springs

There are over 700,000 restaurants in the United States, but Colorado Springs is where to go if you are looking for the best food and drinks. Even the picky eaters will find something delicious to eat at any of these restaurants.

The Rabbit Hole: Located in downtown Colorado Springs, this underground restaurant provides an “Alice and Wonderland” experience for all guests. Not to mention, the food is to die for—especially their crispy pork belly tacos with pineapple salsa and their sweet potato waffle fries. Unlike ordinary restaurants, the menu for the Rabbit Hole does not just say desserts or entrees; its menu titles are “Eat Me” and “Drink Me,” which tie into the Wonderland theme. Make your reservation today for a private tea party or come in and enjoy some great food!

Matte Factor: Located in Manitou Springs, the Matte Factor offers fresh and organic yerba mate. Better yet, the Matte Factor provides high quality menu items 24 hours a day. The Matte Factor gets their yerba directly from Brazil. Along with the great drinks that they have to offer, the food on the menu is very delicious. The workers are just hippies doing their own thing, which creates a very relaxed environment. The Peach Mate Iced Tea is definitely a strong recommendation!

Jun: This sushi restaurant has two locations, one on Centennial Blvd. and one on Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs. Both locations provide authentic Japanese cuisine. The owner, Jun Aizu, is very involved with the preparation and assembly of the food. This involvement results in high expectations from customers, which are always exceeded. The restaurant has many great rolls and hand rolls to choose from. The UFO roll with fried rice, spicy tuna, and avocado is surely one for the books. Jun also offers other great dishes for customers who don’t like sushi.

Marigolds: This French Bistro is the perfect environment to take your family and friends for a relaxed, classy place to eat. The couple who owns the restaurant are there day and night, greeting customers and inspecting every plate of food as it goes out. The husband, named Dominique, was raised in France. After moving to America, he desired to share his hometown cuisine with the locals here in Colorado. One of their best dishes is the muscles in spicy tomato sauce. Not to mention, fresh dessert is made daily by the owner’s wife, which will leave you craving more.

Springs Orleans: If you love Cajun food, this is the place for you. In the heart of downtown on Kiowa street, this restaurant is a favorite for many locals. They have everything from burgers to authentic Cajun food on the menu. The presentation of all the food is well thought out and impressive. The restaurant’s many awards go to show just how great their food really is. The live band entertains customers while dining. Many of the customers stated that the band is one of the main reasons why they return.

From all these great restaurants to choose from, which one are you going to visit next?
