Athlete Of The Month Senior Edition

Our male Athlete Of The Month is Senior varsity baseball player Kyle Chasse. Kyle has been on the varsity team both his Junior and Senior year proving himself to be a key player for our Air Academy Kadets. With a batting average of .319 and an on-base average of .472 He has helped his team dominate this year with a 9-3 league record and a 13-4 overall record. Kyle’s favorite part about the 2016-2017 season was having “one last ride with all the boys.” Not only has Kyle impressed his teammates and coaches, but he also caught the attention of the University of South Carolina Sumpter where he will be playing at the college level next year. Kyle, when asked if he could say one thing to the younger players as he ends his high school baseball career said: ” Don’t let your success or failures on the baseball field determine who you are as a person.”
