We are more than halfway done with the school year, and if you are like me, you are craving the summer sun. We are longing to be in the season’s heat, tanning our skin, wearing shorts, and not having a care in the world. Luckily, there are only a few more weeks left of the winter season, so hold on! The top beaches to visit will hopefully fulfill your summer desires and give you an idea of where to vacation over summer.

Top Beaches in the U.S.

  1. Manele Bay, Hawaii

This natural beauty is considered one of the finest beaches in the world. It has the perfect sandy shoreline to walk along with crystal clear water to admire. Not only do you get to soak in all its beauty, but there are also many activities to do. There are several snorkeling and diving spots here that top the charts around the world!

  1.  Smathers Beach in Key West, Florida

At Smathers Beach, you can expect a clean, sandy, eye-catching beauty. Being located in a magnificent area, this beach makes for one on the charts. Besides taking in its good looks, there are many activities that it provides. You can rent a day pass if you desire, which would allow sailboats, windsurfing, kayaks, paddle boards, and a parasail ride. This beach has me dreaming about summer!

  1.  Hanauma Bay Beach Park, Oahu, Hawaii

This white sand coral beach that’s enclosed by a breached volcano is a prime spot for vacationing. At this stunning area, the crystal blue water makes it easy to spot the coral that lies just below the water. Thousands of fish call this their home, which makes it a great snorkeling destination.

  1.  Coronado Beach, San Diego, California

This next one on our list is favored to be one of the most unique. It is known as being one of the most family friendliest beaches and tops the charts with its lush subtropical vegetation. It has a warm Mediterranean climate with white and smooth sand.

  1.  Honaunau Beach, The Big Island

When visiting the Big Island, this is a must see bay. It is known for their windswept palm trees and soft wind sands and is Hawaii’s most photographed beach. Divers are found in their own little paradise, seeing the underwater life of thousands of fish and the endangered green sea turtle. Also, if you finish at the beach, there are rain forests nearby that will catch your eye to go check out.

Top in the World:

  1. Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda

This beach is considered to be one of the best and prettiest beaches in the world. It is one of the more popular areas on the island, however, there is tons of room to spread out and admire the blue, saltwater sea. It is admired for its dramatic rock formations in the shallow ocean which complements the beautiful soft, pink sand. Speaking from experience, this was one of my favorite beaches in Bermuda when I went. The water was calm and it was a peaceful, warm area to relax.

  1.  Matira Beach, Bora Bora, French Polynesia

This Tahiti Beach is one for the books. It has a mile long ocean front, paired with silky white sand, with a lush green forest lingering in the back. Plus, it isn’t a part of the five-star resort, which means it has all access so everyone can enjoy this natural beauty.

  1.  Dreamland Beach, Bali

This breathtaking sight is listed as one of the top beaches for its well-known ocean waves. This bay has a “hang loose” vibe with surfers coming from all around the world to surf its magnificent waves. It also has small shops and cafes to keep the beach goers company.
Hopefully, this list can hold off your summer cravings for a few more months. As we leave the winter season, be dreaming about these destinations!
