Junior Calvin and Senior Kennedy have an incredible bond.

AP tests vs. Graduation. First prom vs. last prom. College applications vs. College acceptance. Although Juniors and Seniors are only a year apart, their second semesters could not be more different.
When we sit back and take a look at the way juniors and seniors face their second semester, the comparison is really hilarious. The seriousness of junior year is so different compared to the senioritis felt in your final semester of high school.

When asked, various seniors answered how they really feel about their second semester;
Q: What is your attitude facing the rest of the year?
A: I don’t really have one because I could care less about the rest of this year. I know that’s harsh but it’s true.
Q: On a scale of 1-10 how ready are you to graduate?
A: Solid 12.5.
Q: What is your biggest stresser right now?
A: Going to college and being too weird to make friends.
Q: How many classes have you attended this week?
A: I’ve gotten called out of at least one class a day this week. I went to one class yesterday and I had four.
Q: What is the one thing that’s keeping you in school?
A: Seeing my friends everyday.
Q: What are you most looking forward to for this semester?
A: I am most looking forward to the season finale of The Bachelor.

A: Oh my gosh. It is junior year and I have to grow up. I am so scared!
Q: On a scale of 1-10 how ready are you to take the AP test?
A: Probably like a negative two. All I know how to do is put my name on it.
Q: What is your biggest stresser right now?
A: Mean teachers that don’t understand that I have 3 other AP classes and therefore 5 hours of homework a night.
Q: How many classes have you attended this week?
A: I had a doctor’s appointment last week and I missed half a period and I almost cried because I was stressed about missing that much time in class.
Q: What is the one thing that’s keeping you in school?
A: I want to be successful and I want to get into college.
Q: What are you most looking forward to for this semester?
A: The end. The end of this semester.

As you can see the juniors and seniors are in a very different mindset going into their second semester. As a junior, I am very excited to get this semester over with and enjoy the smooth ride of crippling senioritis and the countdown to graduation.
