As a citizens of the United States of America we are required to obey and fulfill all the laws that are in place. However, the USA has some weird and wacky laws that are still in place that we need to follow. Here are 13 of the strangest laws from all 50 states. - In Florida women may be fined for falling asleep under a hair dryer, as can the salon owner.
- In California women may not drive in a house coat.
- In Denver it is unlawful to lend your vacuum cleaner to your next-door neighbor.
- In Oregon ice cream may not be eaten on Sundays.
- In Florida if an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle.
- In San Jose and Sunnyvale California it is illegal for grocery stores to provide plastic bags.
- In Arizona there is a possible 25 years in prison for cutting down a cactus.
- In Hawaii you will be fined for riding in the back of a passenger car without a seatbelt, however you can ride in the bed of a pickup truck with no safety equipment.
- In Kentucky it is illegal to fish with a bow and arrow.
- In Iowa one-armed piano players must perform for free.
- In Texas it is illegal to milk another person’s cow.
- In Ohio it is illegal to get fish drunk.
- In Georgia you cannot live on a boat for more than 30 days during the calendar year, even if just passing through the state
