Kadets Dream Big

Kadets all over Air Academy High School reach for the stars as they dream big for their future lives. Life after high school, and even college, can be a challenge when it comes to making a difference in the world. However, Kadets all over Air Academy are hoping for the best in trying to achieve their dream goals. Every student has different plans for their future. However, each student’s dreams are equally as important, and all are a reflection on the success of Air Academy High School.

Junior Lilly Hamilton aspires to become a physical therapist and study kinesiology. Hamilton explains herself by saying, “I like helping people and have a passion for sports. So I would want to rehabilitate people to get back to their sport.”

Senior Matt Parker wishes that his future leads him to studying aerospace engineering or biomedical at a top level university. He dreams of becoming a biomedical engineer or aerospace engineer and making a difference in the world. Even though engineering is a difficult path to follow, Parker believes he can succeed and accomplish much in the future.

Senior Jessica Mills hopes to pursue a “business marketing degree along with industrial design/product development at University of Colorado at Boulder.” After this, she hopes to obtain her MBA. With this degree, Mills says she hopes to “become the CEO of a major company.”

Senior Shelby Wuertz hopes to study psychology and become a psychologist. “It’s interesting, and I want to help people in what I do,” says Wuertz when explaining why she wants to become a psychologist. She enjoys learning about the brain and hopes to help make a difference in the lives of people.

Senior Tim Lovewell see’s himself majoring in political science and minoring in economics. Lovewell says, “I plan on going to law school after I get my undergraduate degree and becoming a lawyer.” He enjoys politics and can effectively argue opinions with facts. These qualities make for a great potential lawyer. 

Senior Julia Gaubatz wishes to study aerospace engineering at a top level university and become an astronaut. Gaubatz explains why she wants to become an astronaut by saying, “I love outer space. Being an astronaut would combine my love for outer space and math and science.”

Junior Joe Cordaro wants to become a mechanical engineer. Joe explains how he likes working on cars and fixing mechanical problems. “I like the way cars work,” says Joe when explaining why he hopes to become a mechanical engineer.

The future is unclear in the lives of all high school students. However, the hopes of all Kadets are leading them on paths of greatness. No matter what we do with our lives in the future, Kadets are setting high expectations with their hopes and big dreams.
