A Miami Chuck E. Cheese’s was turned into a late night, Latino fight club earlier this month. Patrons of the establishment resorted to good ‘ole Mr. Fister after a heated argument. Luckily, a brave bystander, Krystal Jimenez, decided to do the right thing after the brawl broke out… pull out her phone and let twitter enjoy the mom-on-mom-on-cousin Jimenez action.

The event took place in Kendall, a small city located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. The Chuck E. Cheese’s appeared to be packed. Jimenez reported that a fight began “because one person was looking at them and instigating a problem then they went up to them and their families got involved.” Some claim the “instigating” occurred when two of the party-goers began debating on whether or not the bouncy balls were rubber or simply leftover cheese pizza rolled tightly. Whatever the argument may have been, the families of the two soon got involved and chaos ensued.

Tweeters, active members of the Twitter community, are immediately thrown into the action as the video starts. Right off the bat, one woman attempts to determine another woman’s value by hurling her into the ticket eater. “Munch, Munch, Munch,” apparently all she was worth was a mouse-themed hacky sack, a sticky hand, and a few pixie sticks. Soon after, the camera pans out to a no budget, old west saloon brawl scene. Parents jump on one another, pulling hair and throwin’ elbows. One concerned mother points and screams something which can’t be made out. Quite possibly “hit her with the skeeball!” but one can’t be sure. As the fight proceeds, multiple customers slam against booths and the occasionally-washed black carpet. Let the bodies hit the floor! Children stand aside holding up their empty cups, crying as they request for more tokens is answered with “You’ve already had enough *smack*.” Amidst the disarray, several red-shirted employees attempted to intervene. What looks to be the manager is seen pulling up a fighter’s shirt while he goes to town on the restaurant’s structural support. Jimenez’s video continues for another 10 seconds until she stops recording.

Police and first responders arrived at the scene several minutes after it’s onset. They requested any information about the fight. Apparently, some responsible parents thought it would be a great idea to exceed the franchise’s two alcoholic drink limit. Alcohol had fueled them in their violent frenzy. I don’t blame them, the animatronic band really knows how to set the mood.

It does not, however, come as a surprise that Chuck E. Cheese’s hosted the latest showdown. Miami just so happened to be the next location on the tour. Last year, a Pittsburgh location held a brawl between 50 fighters. A franchise in Manchester, Connecticut holds the record for most birthday parties ruined at a single event, totaling an outrageous 5. A brawl in a Louisiana location ended up with three people in the back of a squad car. The worst event transpired in Cleveland when the participants turned on the judges and attacked six employees. Fans can’t wait until the tour reaches its final stop: Dave and Buster’s.

The restaurant’s mascot, Chuckie, is slowly evolving into a child-friendly Randy “Mouse” Orton. Who knows what’s in store for children in greasy arcade restaurants across the nation? But one thing is for sure, it seems as if Chuck E. Cheese’s may actually hold up to their motto for once “Chuck E. Cheese’s, where a kid can be a witness to second-degree assault, YA!”
